My pastor recently posted this short video on his blog Thinking Eternally, Living Presently. I have been thinking about church recently and trying to figure out where I sit on the continuum stretching between serving in the church and being served by the church. Trying to figure out if my desire for meatier chunks of spiritual food is God-centered or me-centered. Am I interested in learning about Christ because I am a prideful scholar of the text, or because I am merely his disciple and I want to BE like him?
I can't watch the vid because internet is too slow here... but I like the short little blurb... those are great questions to ask yourself and I ask them too. Very thought provoking stuff.
